After I left the shop, I feel like I got scammed and I don't trust them anymore. (1). Paid inspection fee $30 but they never actually check until I told them if they check it at the end and they start checking. Also they never show me full inspection detail on what they check. (2. I"m not sure about this one but, here the story) I was told told that I need to buy and replace the battery when I told them my steering wheel is stiff and hard to turn. After I told a few mechanic about the situation, they told me that it has anything to do with battery. so totally I wasted almost $200. Never going there again even those the customer service is excellent.
Dear Jonathan, First off we want to say Thank You for your feedback. We strive to provide Excellent Customer Service for every customer. We also appreciate you coming in to use our services. The $29.95 was a charge to test and inspect the Starting/Charging System due to the vehicle not starting in the parking lot. Keep in mind, this vehicle has an Electronic Steering System. This means you need power to check the system and with your car not starting we suggested the Starting/Charging System. This is to find out why the vehicle is not starting and why the power is not going to the Electronic Steering System. Once we found out what the problem was after testing we installed the new Battery. The Steering problem went away due to the fact that the vehicle needed power to work the Electronic Steering System. This was all explained in detail before authorizing the work. Your total investment was $184.26 which included the Starting/Charging System test and replacement of the Battery. In turn, the initial problem was fixed with it being the steering wheel is stiff and hard to turn. We Thank You once again for being a customer and for your feedback. We hope to see you again.
