My elderly mother had her truck delivered to the Carrollwood location. They wanted to charge her double the amount of 2 other service centers. She informed them she had called around and could they help her out. They did not try to work with her even though she had already had her truck delivered to their location. Since her truck wasn’t running, she needed to then call a 2nd tow truck out to move it to another place that would charge her half the price. I believe this is 100% bad business on their part. I had a similar experience with the same company, same location when my 16 year old daughter had trouble with her car. She worked at 4 Rivers next the location. Once again they charged an exorbitant amount compared to competitors. Had I known my mother initially was going to take her care to Honest 1 Auto Care, I would have steered her clear of this overpriced service center.
Vickii Johnson, Thank You for your feedback. Unfortunately, the vehicle was towed in over night without our knowledge. We called the cust in the am and they approved the diagnostic to find out what the issue is. We sent them a email with the estimate. Then she Did not call but just showed up without communicating to pick up her keys to tell us she is not interested in doing the work here and would like to tow it else where. We did all the correct policy and procedures correctly. But unfortunately we can’t just take customer competition quotes over the phone due to parts and warranty you are receiving.
