I don t want to say to much negativity but I had my car towed there on a recommendation from a family member. Upon arrival I met with the general manager explained to him the problem that my car was having. I told him that I needed a starter. I met with the owner who was an awesome person. After about 5 minutes the general manager gave me a quote on the job to be performed. gave me aquote of 402.00 for a rebuilt starter or a new one for 433.00 of course for 31.00 difference I chose a new one. I thought it was extremely expensive but at this point I had no choice I am ten miles from my house and the tow truck driver had already left and my car would not turn on . I had there shuttle drop me off at my home I get home and i was home for only a half hour they call me at home telling my car is ready. Well they send the shuttle to pick me up and when I get there I pay what they asked for. Upon looking at the bill I noticed that there is a charge of 29.99 for diagnosis there was no need for a diagnosis because he quoted me a price based on what I told him also 12.98 for shop material. I have never heard of them adding on charges of work that was not performed. They showed a discount of 31.00 plus but in actuality there was no discount because they charged for a diagnosis that was not necessary since I had already had the vehicle checked by another mechanic. The only reason I brought the car to Honest1 is because a family member recommend them to me after I had already made arrangement tyo go to someone closer to my home. I like said the place was nice and clean, staff were very nice and courteous. George the owner was very nice but my only complaint is price and the added charges on my final bill.

When you arrived at the location we had asked if you would like for us to change the Starter out or do a Diagnostic Test, you said proceed with the test to find out if that was the exact problem. Honest-1 Auto Care has always satisfied customers by checking cars thoroughly to determine what repairs and parts are necessary, we have found that this will save our customers the most money. With the new Starter you received a 3 Year/36,000 Mile Warranty on Parts and Labor that no one in the area offers.You waited for the test 30 minutes in the lobby and then we offered you ride home in our Courtesy Shuttle. It took 30 mins to take you home and you were there for about an hour and then another 30 mins to pick you up. That is 2 1/2 hours, the car was then ready. The $29.99 Diagnostic was what you approved when you wanted to be certain it was the Starter the final price never changed, we would never mislead you. The Shop supply fees are in every Automotive Business, but are either called something else or adjusted into the Parts and Labor. We understand you had another Mechanic check it, But we only approved our Mechanic's Diagnostics due to not knowing the Certifications of the other Mechanic. Finally we appreciate the kind words about the nice and clean place with the nice staff. We also appreciate you as a customer. Thank you for your business.
